You wake up with your memories fracturing around you. You're going somewhere, and there's something wrong, and you know these people here with you, or maybe you only think you do. All you really know for sure is that you can hear this Bell. This LARP is written by Stephanie and Catherine Pegg.

The characters of The Bell are all people on a space-ship that is experiencing technical difficulties during its flight. All characters start the game with only fragments of memory.

The Bell draws on a trope of science fiction which treats space travel as a spiritual journey. It doesn't make assertions about any particular religion, but it does examine metaphysical themes and ethical issues. This LARP may include themes of death, violence, suicide, mental illness, medical ethics, spirituality, slavery, and what it means to be human. Tragic endings are very possible, as is early death.

Casting will be done at the door -- players will be able to choose a character based on vague hints who they might be, involvement with romance (or lack thereof), and gender (most characters are neutral, some may be male, female, or intersex.) The GM can assist players with avoiding certain themes if they wish.

The costuming for this LARP is simply all blacks for all characters. This LARP will involve short periods of lying on the ground; players are encouraged to bring pillows. (The GM will attempt to provide some for those who cannot bring their own.) Players who prefer to sit instead of lying down are welcome to.
